Dr. Garcia grew up riding hunter/jumpers in her home state of South Carolina. She attended Wofford College, receiving her B.S. in Biology and went on to earn her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She received certifications in Veterinary Acupuncture, Equine Rehabilitation and Performance Medicine, as well as Equine Veterinary Medical Manipulation (“Veterinary Chiropractic”) from the Chi University in Reddick, FL. Dr. Garcia is a MagnaWave certified practitioner and is also an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian. She enjoys working with horses at all levels of competition to keep them feeling their best and performing at their highest level.
She is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), the FVMA (Florida Veterinary Medical Association) the AAVA (American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture), the WATCVM (World Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine), the AAEP (American Association of Equine Practitioners), and the FAEP (Florida Association of Equine Practitioners).
